Hym never died in the first place. I think it should've been apparent that he was gonna come back at some point. Unless it's Disney, when have you ever seen a villain die off-screen from a fall, never showed the body, and then never came back?

if chess you can literally promote your pawn into a stronger piece, you can actually have like so many queens in play which is the strongest chess piece.
hym coming back and being promoted with all that power up is him becoming the strongest piece aka the queen..

the other pieces that should up is also part of the game. there is in total 16 chess pieces.

Hym resurrected by the dying will of his comrades! Bashing his way onto the scene at Vearn Palace going right after Hyunckel. It might seem like a bit of a cheap way to get a proper fight between the two but it does fall in line with the narrative. Hym could hear the anguish of his fellow guards and Hadlar himself as they died and couldn't let that stand. Hym had to come back and at minimum stop his rival Hyunckel. One last thing to do for those he's lost. Its an epic moment seeing Hym body the arrogant monsters Hyunckel had been keeping back. Hym just wrecks them all like its nothing so he can get to Hyunckel. Sending Hyunckel himself down to the depths where he has his own remembrance of what Avan told him a true warrior is. Not giving up until you've tried everything you've can, no matter how difficult it gets. Next episode we'll see the proper conclusive fight between the two rivals. Crocodine roasting Zaboera once and for all was dope. Chiu got some funny moments too as he leads a party up to Vearn Palace with a bunch of healing items that should be useful for Dai and company

Pawns are one of the greatest chess pieces but since there are so many of them in a row, they are looked down and not taken as a priority.

Pawns can be common queens two Queens are better than one. So basically we can call Hym, Queen Hym.

I finally think I'm ready resume watching this. I've watched an episode here and there, but kept getting depressed. Since my little buddy died in my arms last December, it's been too hard for me to continue this. I used to watch it with him on my lap and sing the op and previous ed to him. He loved that, even when he was nearing the end and blind, he'd sit on my lap and purr and paw at me happily as I sang to him. Seventeen years I had that cat, the most loyal cat that has ever lived. He probably saved my life when I was falling apart back in the 00's with all the deaths and moving to a strange place. Buried him between his two favorite trees. I will never not miss him.

I'd rather him just win in a more logical way and with overwhelming power or lose because he is too tired and used all of his energy and can't even touch his enemy who is a healthy person with maximum of energy and power. This is one of the reasons I hate Dai show because there is a concept of an enemy with overwhelming power whom you cannot defeat with hope, love and all of that friendship talk, just go train yourself become more powerful than him and return to beat him.
